Introduction
I have been working as a freelance make-up artist for 5 years and enjoy teaching different make-up techniques at Castle College in Nottinghamshire. I teach NVQ level 3 make-up which includes special effects such as casualty wounds, ready made prosthetic application, airbrushing techniques, theatrical, and media make-up techniques. I have recently set up my own make-up academy and really enjoy teaching my new students different Fashion and Photographic make-up applications and take pride in their development and achievements. As a fully qualified teacher I am a member of the Institute for Learning.
I have worked with the East Midlands award winning photographer as well as Lookfly clothing range,local directors and producers on music videos and short films. I have also worked for Nottinghamshire Theatre production companies. I really enjoy providing a private service for brides to be, creating the perfect individual bridal make-over to help make their special day more relaxing and enjoyable. I have also provided bridal services for Keith Hall.
I have researched many products to determine which are most efficient for the different types of make-up applications to ensure the professional finish I create is long lasting and water/smudge proof. This will keep your look perfect all day. I am experienced in working with all different skin colours and my products include Professional products house brands as well as Mac, Narz, Becca, shu uemura, YSL, Clinique and many more.
