Introduction

Reiki is an holistic spiritual practice which can be used as a complementary therapy to facilitate physical, emotional, mental, creative and spiritual well being.  This tradition was first practised by Mikao Usui in early 20th Century Japan and has been handed down in a direct lineage from master to practitioner to this day.

Reiki is a completely non-intrusive technique and you will remain fully-clothed throughout.  You simply relax either seated or lying down.  Reiki is channelled via a series of hand positions located around your chakras (dynamic energy points in your body).  The treatment starts at the head working down the torso to your knees and feet.

Recipients often feel great warmth or tingling in the area being treated, even when a non-touch approach is being used.  You may find that thoughts and insights linked with your onward healing can bubble up to the surface and – to get the maximum benefit from Reiki – it is always advisable to follow-through on these.

Reiki can also be delivered as a Distant Healing where you remain at home and the Reiki Healing is sent to you by the Reiki practitioner from a separate venue.
